This policy explains how Sego Seafood AS handles personal data on this website. We collect as little as possible — only what we need to answer you.

Who we are

Sego Seafood AS (org. no. 930 553 476), Ytrebygdsvegen 215, 5258 Blomsterdalen, Norway, is the data controller for this website. Questions about privacy can be sent to stephan@segoseafood.no.

What we collect

When you use the contact form we receive the details you enter: name, email address, and optionally company, phone number, topic and your message. We do not collect data for marketing, profiling or analytics.

Why we process it

We use your details solely to answer your inquiry and to keep track of it under its ticket number. The legal basis is GDPR article 6(1)(b) — taking steps at your request before entering into a contract — and our legitimate interest in answering inquiries (article 6(1)(f)).

Where it is stored

Your inquiry is delivered to our email inbox, and the confirmation email to you is sent through our email provider Resend, acting as our data processor. We do not store your details in any other systems.

Spam protection

The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that submissions come from people and not bots. Turnstile processes technical browser data for this purpose on Cloudflare's behalf.

Cookies

This site sets two functional cookies: one remembering your language and one remembering your light/dark theme choice. We use no tracking or analytics cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep your inquiry for as long as needed to handle it and any follow-up. Inquiries that are no longer relevant are deleted.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting stephan@segoseafood.no. You also have the right to complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
